Honestly I feel her pain, 6 years of one's life is no joke, and then few months later he proposes to someone new? That's just painful, devastating, heartbreaking, that's enough to drive a woman mad. It will take a lot of strength and God's mercy to deal with and get over that level of pain. And that pain is apparent in her texts. I cannot say I blame this woman, my heart even breaks on her behalf.
But on the other hand I wonder, when you no longer love someone, when you no longer feel anything for them, when you know you don't want to move into the future with them, do you stay simply because they've done so much for you, do you stay because you feel indebted to them? Is it fair to you or even to them?
Please guys I would really love to hear your thoughts on this. A lot of females have gone through this misery of spending the "best years" of their lives with a man, supporting him, making him the man he is today, praying for him, loving him, investing in him, catering to all his needs and sometimes even that of his family. Then only for him to wake up one day and decide he doesn't love her anymore. What's even worse is when three or four months later you hear he's engaged to someone new. Tell me that's not enough to drive a woman mad!
